Fleur d' Excès

Just one name: Victoire De Castellane. She is the mastermind of Dior Haute Joaillerie since 1998, but has quite a résumé: Karl Lagerfeld made her the head designer of Chanel costume jewellery when she was only 19!

Her creativity brought her to design several succesful collections for Dior; now she is taking it to a whole other level, designing some exclusive pieces of art, completely handmade, inspired by flowers in which nature is seen with the eyes of hallucinations.
The collection is on display from March, 2 to the 22, at Gagosian Gallery in Paris.
Fabergé eggs, hallucinogenic effects, Alice in wonderland, pop art: these are only some of the elements that can be found in her collection.
"I start with a story, a world, never with the material. I find my stories in everything I observe and experience -- rebellion, love, sexuality, pleasure, violence, protection, psychoanalysis, and my taste for fairy tales…"
