Balenciaga fall winter 2011/2012

Remember those Prada knitted bags from f/w 2010? When I saw those jackets on the Balenciaga catwalk I immediately thought of those! But let me say they look extremely edgy, punk-rock leather tricot. Grandma meets Sex Pistols. Interesting results. As for the clothes, floral prints appeared. You might say even Nicolas Ghesquière? Those are not simple and reassuring flowers, but baroque, even a little dark twisted prints, with a touch of naturalistic attention. Sixties vibes also appeared on the dresses in the last part of the show; optical black and white with some touch of colour to it, clear attention to the cuts. As for the shoes, baroque motifs even on the wide slings stilettos.
